A little bit about us…

We have always made and decorated cakes for family and friends, more as a hobby than a business, until it was suggested that we start our own business, something we never really thought about, but we decided to give it a go and in January of 2016 Rimma’s Wedding Cakes was born.

If you fast forward to 2020, we have established ourselves as one of Perth’s leading Wedding Cake Designers. We have achieved this by providing our clients with customer service that is second to none and wedding cakes that exceed your expectations.

Rimma’s Wedding Cakes is a home-based business full approved and accredited with all council and department of health regulations, all our wedding cakes are made fresh, with no premade or packaged cakes ever used.

We are very proud of what we have achieved in 4 short years, and never expected our little business to grow at such a rapid rate, some of our milestones so far are:

• Placing Third and receiving 2 Bronze Certificates at the International Cake Show held in Brisbane of May 2019, competing against cake decorators from around the world.
• 2nd place at the 2019 Royal Perth Show (Wedding Cake Division for Registered Business)
• Certificate of Excellence Awards from Easy Weddings for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020
• Over 50 Five Star online reviews.
• But the awards we are most proud of are our Brides Choice Awards. What makes these awards so special is that they are not judged by a panel of judges but voted only by past brides who received wedding cakes from us. To be acknowledged in the top 5 Wedding Cake Decorators in Western Australia and then to receiving the Highly Commended Award was very humbling and we are truly honoured to think our past brides thought enough of us, our business and of course their wedding cakes, to vote for us only makes us strive to do better and better.

As our business has grown we to have had to make changes to keep up with this growth, we now have a dedicated showroom located at 4/55 Prindiville Drive, Wangara, where we have numerous cakes on display and it is also where we now hold all our Wedding Cake Consultations.

We are a husband and wife team and believe we have struck the perfect match for our business, as Rimma handles all the cake baking and decorating, leaving Craig to take care of our Accounts and Advertising.
