The property was casually named ‘Pipit Hill’ by the family who have lived here for fifty years, arising from the playful nature of these birds, often seen hopping along the driveway and heard singing in the sky high over the peaceful paddocks. Pipit Hill is currently run as a self-sustainable horse property created with recycled materials and an off-grid solar power system, making it environmentally friendly whilst retaining the property’s heritage.
